D . Non-exempt employees who attend court representing the County on <br /> their day off will be compensated in accordance with the overtime <br /> provision . However, every attempt should be made not to schedule a <br /> court appearance on the employee's day off. <br /> E . Employees who attend court for only a portion of a regularly <br /> scheduled work day are required to report to their supervisor within a <br /> reasonable period of time after being excused or released by the <br /> court. <br /> F . Employees who attend court on behalf of the County , as stated <br /> above , while on scheduled vacation , may be allowed to take <br /> additional leave with pay for the court time . <br /> G . In the event a holiday occurs during the period of an employee's jury <br /> duty, the employee shall receive pay for the holiday . <br /> H . All court attendance must be verified before an employee shall be <br /> compensated . Monies received from court appearances will be <br /> turned over to the County. <br /> 60 <br />
