ARTICLE 31 <br /> CALL-OUT AND PREARRANGED OVERTIME <br /> 31 . 01 CALL-OUT AND PREARRANGED OVERTIME <br /> A. When an employee is required to report for work at a time other than <br /> the employee's regular work schedule , it shall be considered : <br /> 1 . A call-out, if the employee has less than twelve hours' notice <br /> by the Emergency Operations Assistant Chief or authorized <br /> representative ; or <br /> 2 . Prearranged overtime if the employee has twelve hours' or <br /> more notice . <br /> B . On a call-out , the employee shall be paid a minimum of three hours at <br /> time and one-half as time actually worked on the call-out. Time shall <br /> start at time of initial contact (unless the employee fails to report to <br /> work within a reasonable period of time after contact, whereupon time <br /> shall start at a reasonable period of time before appearing at work) for <br /> purposes of computing time worked and/or paid and shall end upon <br /> sign-off at work headquarters . <br /> C . In the case of prearranged overtime , the employee shall be paid time <br /> and one-half for all hours worked . <br /> D . No employee will be called back to work during vacation unless an <br /> extreme emergency has been declared . <br /> 61 <br />
