<br />All members were present. Also
<br />present were Sherman N. Smith, Jr., Attorney for the Board, Ed Schmucker,
<br />County Engineer and Katherine Morrison, Deputy Clerk.

<br />Before the undersigned authority personally appeared J. J. Schumann, who
<br />on oath says that he is Business Manager of the Vero Beach Press -Journal, a weekly
<br />newspaper published at Vero Beach in Indian River County, Florida; that the attached
<br />copy of advertisement, being a

<br />lished in said newspaper in the issues of
<br />Affiant further says that the said Vero Beach Press -Journal is a newspaper published at
<br />Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida, and that the said newspaper has heretofore
<br />been continuously published in said Indian River County, Florida, weekly and has been entered
<br />as second class mail matter at the post office in Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida,
<br />for a period of one year next preceeding the first publication of the attached copy of advertisement;
<br />and affiant further says that he has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or corporation
<br />any discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose .of securing this advertisement for
<br />publication in the said newspaper.

<br />NOTICE
<br />Notice is hereby given that the
<br />Board of County Commissioners of
<br />Indian River County, Florida will
<br />receive sealed bids at the hour of
<br />9:00 o'clock A. M. Tuesday, April
<br />48, 1961, and at said time publicly
<br />open the same at the meeting of
<br />said Board to be held in the County
<br />Commissioners Room, Indian River
<br />County Courthouse, Vero Beach,
<br />Florida, for moving the following
<br />house located on new 12th Street
<br />right of way to location as noted:
<br />To move a house belonging to
<br />Leroy Barkwell on lot 16 to the
<br />middle of lots 16 and 17,. all in
<br />Unit ,#2, Lone Palm Park Sub-
<br />division.
<br />Above house to be moved and re-
<br />located without damage other than
<br />caused by conditions beyond the
<br />movers control in regard to rotted
<br />timbers or poor construction. All
<br />new beams and sills if needed to
<br />level house on new concrete piers,
<br />install new 600 gallon spectic tank
<br />and drain field, and install grease
<br />trap and drainfield. Lower flow
<br />well to ground level in concrete
<br />box with top, reconnect water, etc.
<br />as existing before. rove.'
<br />If further information desired
<br />prospective bidders. may contact
<br />the County Engineer.
<br />All bids shall be in an envalope,
<br />securely sealed and marked on
<br />outside, "Bid for Moving." Each
<br />bid shall be accompanied by a
<br />deposit in the amount of 10 percent
<br />of the bid. Condition to move the
<br />house within 30 days from accept-
<br />ance of bid. The County reserves
<br />the right to reject any and all bids.
