E. At the end of the payroll period nearest the end of each fiscal year, the <br /> accumulated overtime of the lowest employee in each classification <br /> (excluding employees who are ineligible for overtime) shall be deducted from <br /> the overtime standings of all others in the classification at that location. <br /> F. It is expressly understood that reliable, prompt service is a priority <br /> responsibility to the public we serve. It is expected that all employees will <br /> respond when an emergency or bona fide need exists . The failure to so <br /> respond, except as covered in (D) above, will be cause for disciplinary action, <br /> including termination of employment. <br /> 30 . 03 RESERVED <br /> 30 .04 COURT LEAVE <br /> A. Employees attending court as a witness on behalf of a public jurisdiction or <br /> for jury duty during their normal working hours shall receive full pay equal to <br /> their normal work schedule for the hours they attend court. This time shall be <br /> charged as leave with pay. Remuneration paid by the court shall be turned <br /> over to the Employer. <br /> B . All permanent full-time employees subpoenaed to attend court on behalf of <br /> the Employer are eligible for leave with pay. Any remuneration shall be <br /> turned over to the Employer. <br /> C . Those employees who become witnesses, plaintiffs, or defendants in the <br /> matters unrelated to the Employer are not eligible for leave with pay. <br /> Employees who are parties against the County in any proceeding, or who <br /> appear without subpoena as witnesses for a party against the County in any <br /> proceeding are not eligible for leave with pay. <br /> 51 <br />
