Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald, and unanimously carried, that this Board hereby directs the <br />Clerk of the Circuit Court of Brevard'County to transfer to the office <br />of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Indian River County, all tracings <br />of plats covering lands which were formerly situated in Brevard County, <br />and which are now a part of Indian River County, pursuant to Chapter <br />61-1009, House Bill No. 520. <br />The County Engineer reported that he had not exactly been able to <br />check out the descriptions as furnished by the State Road Department on <br />their quit -claim deed to the county for the abandonment of right of way <br />on South U. S. #1. The Board directed the Clerk write a letter to Mr. <br />Walter Buckingham informing him that the Board is temporarily tabling <br />this matter until his return to the City. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hamilton and carried, to pay Nina Allen $60.00 in:lieu of removing trees <br />off U. S. #1 right of way. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hamilton and carried, to pay to Mrs. Rose Hatch $300.00 for the right of <br />way on 12th Street. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hamilton and carried, to pay The Samobe Corporation $500.00 for right of <br />way on 20th and Citrus. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hamilton and carried, to pay $1300.00 for right of way on 12th Street <br />from Vero Tropic Estates, Inc. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Waddell and carried, authorizing the County Engineer to pay'up to $1400.00 <br />to Henry Sapp for right of way across his land on 12th Street. <br />The County Engineer stated that Mr. Lux,developer of Hickory Sands <br />Subdivision.would like to County to release the park area in this sub.- <br />division <br />ub:division in exchange for right of way on. Old Dixie Avenue. Motion was <br />.made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and <br />carried, that the Board will accept the proposition made by Mr. Lux as <br />stated above. <br />• <br />Mott= we* *ado •hY.
