Recommendation <br /> Indian River County should procure the services of a GIS consultant to perform recreational <br /> GIS data collection . <br /> Aerial Photographs & Select Planimetrics (120,000.00) - Highest Priority <br /> Digital aerial photography and planimetric mapping products are often collected as a <br /> single effort . Due to the interpretive nature of aerial photographs, a plethora of data can be <br /> extracted from these files . <br /> Recommendation <br /> Indian River County should procure aerial photography and planimetric data from a <br /> qualified GIS or aerial photography firm . <br /> Recommended Training for Year Two <br /> Introduction to ArcGIS 1 (7500.00) - Medium Priority <br /> This course will provide GIS users with GIS skills that will enhance their ca pabilitie to use ArcGIS <br /> software in their normal business procedures. As the first part of a two part series, this course <br /> coupled with Introduction to ArcGIS II will provide significant training a GIS knowledge to <br /> Indian River County ' s GIS users. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Indian River County should continue to offer this level of training to its GIS community, Indian <br /> River County shoule provide training at Indian River County facility for up to 15 users through <br /> ESRI or Certified ESRI Trainer <br /> Introduction to ArcGIS II (10,500.00) - Medium Priority <br /> This course will provide GIS users with GIS skills that will further advance their capability to use <br /> ArcGIS software in their normal business procedures . As the second part of a two part series, <br /> this course coupled with Introduction to ArcGIS I will provide significant training a GIS <br /> knowledge to Indian River County ' s GIS users. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Indian River County should continue to offer this level of training to its GIS community. Indian <br /> River County provide training at Indian River County facility for up to 15 users through ESRI or <br /> Certified ESRI Trainer. <br /> Introduction to the Multiuser Geodatabase(950.00) - Medium Priority <br /> This training will provide Indian River County with information and training specifically toward <br /> using an enterprise geodatabase . <br /> Recommendation <br /> Indian River County should send GIS director or senior GIS staff to this training course at one <br /> of their training centers . <br />
