TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 1961 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County,.Florida, met at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida, in a <br />regular meeting held at 8:00 o'clock, A. M.., Tuesday, November 21, <br />1961. Present were Robert W. Graves, Chairman, B. Q. Waddell, <br />Donald Macdonald and J. J. P. Hamilton. Absent was D. B. McCullers. <br />Also present were John Gould, County Attorney, Ed Schmucker, County <br />Engineer,and Al Webber and Freda Wright, Deputy Clerks. <br />Homer Fletcher, Tax Assessor, appeared before the <br />Board and requested the Board to authorize adjustment on valuation <br />on the following property: <br />Lot 13, Churchill Downs, correct assessed value <br />$2000.00, Correct tax to be extended $102.87 <br />Lot 31, Block 7, Ixora Park No. 5, correct assessed <br />value $100.00, correct tax to be extended $5.10 <br />Lot 5, Block B, Floralton Beach Sub., correct <br />assessed valuation $5000.00, correct tax to be <br />extended $255.18 <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded <br />by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, Mr. Fletcher was <br />authorized to make the adjustments. <br />Mr. Fletcher also asked to transfer monies in various' <br />other accounts to the Property Card Account. Mr. Gould was asked to <br />prepare resolution on same to be adopted at the next meeting. <br />Mr. Wyn appeared before the Board with regard to trans- <br />fer of easement on his property. He was advised he would have to <br />file petition with the Board before any action could be taken. <br />Mr. Merzbacher appeared before the Board regarding the <br />procedure to be taken to install curbs in Rockridge Subdivision. He <br />was advised that it would have to be handled by the various property <br />owners and subject to the approval of the County Engineer. Upon Motion <br />made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and <br />unanimously carried, it was Ordered that curbs could not be installed <br />in Rockridge Subdivision without specific approval of the County Engineer. <br />
