i <br /> L " <br /> AMENDMENT NO . 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> OSLO BOAT RAMP / COUNTY PROJECT NO. 0381 <br /> State and Federal Regulatory Permitting & Mitigation Plan <br /> THIS is an amendment to the existing AGREEMENT dated NOVEMBER 9 , 2004 , <br /> between G . K. ENVIRONMENTAL (CONSULTANT) and INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> (COUNTY) . The proposed scope of work includes environmental services as generally required <br /> for state and Federal Environmental Resource / Individual Permits . All provisions of the original <br /> Professional Environmental Services Agreement shall remain in full force and effect, unless <br /> otherwise specifically modified . This amendment addresses changes in " SCOPE" of the <br /> AGREEMENT. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> TASK I — Permit Application Submittals <br /> ($275 .00) <br /> PHASE I : CONSULTANT to assist COUNTY and COUNTY ' S engineer and surveyor to <br /> complete required field work / meet / review work with COUNTY, review <br /> drawings , and permit application completion. <br /> TASK II — Mitization Plan <br /> ($29805.00) <br /> PHASE II : CONSULTANT will meet with COUNTY and permit agency staff to discuss <br /> mitigation options and inspect potential mitigation sites for compatibility and <br /> prepare a draft mitigation plan, based upon the ecological values of wetland <br /> impacts . <br /> TASK III — Wetland Rapid Assessment Procedure / UMAM <br /> ($0 — completed) <br /> PHASE III : CONSULTANT will conduct a Wetland Rapid Assessment Procedure (WRAP) <br /> and/or a Uniform Mitigation Assessment Method (UMAM) of the wetlands <br /> located within the boundaries of the project site . WRAP/UMAM determine a <br /> numerical value for the ecological functions and ecological values of the existing <br /> wetlands and mitigation site . The WRAP/UMAM score can be used to determine <br /> what type / amount of mitigation will be required for the project site . The <br /> WRAP/UMAM score is based on vegetation, wildlife usage , hydrology , soils, <br /> water quality, success factor, and adjacent lands . <br />
