TASK IV — Protected Species <br /> ($3 ,850A0) <br /> PHASE IV : CONSULTANT will complete a detailed protected species survey on the <br /> referenced site . CONSULTANT ecologist will conduct a preliminary systematic <br /> survey for protected species in accordance with Florida Fish and Wildlife <br /> Conservation Commission (FFWCC) Guidelines . CONSULTANT ecologist will <br /> record all observations of listed protected species and features that may indicate <br /> species presence . Physical features may include , but are not limited to , tree <br /> markings, burrows , tracks, nests , scat, and cavity trees . CONSULTANT will <br /> request that the U . S . Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) and the Florida Fish & <br /> Wildlife Commission (FFWCC) review their files for the presence of any listed <br /> species that may be present onsite . <br /> TASK V — Vegetation Survey (FLUCCS) <br /> ($0 — completed) <br /> PHASE V : CONSULTANT will conduct a systematic survey of vegetation using the Florida <br /> Land Use, Cover and Classification System (FLUCCS), A Technical Report. <br /> FLUCCS was developed by the State of Florida, Department of Administration, <br /> Division of State Planning, Bureau of Comprehensive Planning, April 1976 . <br /> CONSULTANT ecologist will base the vegetative community descriptions upon <br /> field survey observations , SCS soil maps , and aerial photograph interpretation. <br /> TASK VI — Historical / Archaeological Resources <br /> ($660 . 00) <br /> PHASE VI : CONSULTANT will coordinate historical and/or archaeological resources with <br /> the Florida Department of State, Division of Historical Resources, State Historical <br /> Preservation Officer (SHPO) and request the state to review their files for <br /> historical and/or archaeological resources related to this area. <br /> TASK VII — Response to Agency Requests for Additional Information (RAI) <br /> ($ 179200 .00) <br /> PHASE VII : Following agency permit application review, CONSULTANT will respond to all <br /> environmental questions outlined in agency letters requesting additional <br /> information (RAI letters) , including completion of water quality analysis if <br /> required . <br /> TASK VIII — Post Construction <br /> ($ 19800 .00) <br /> PHASE VIII : Post construction inspection assistance and water quality monitoring during <br /> construction. <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br /> CONSULTANT / Davis / IRC <br /> Proposal Amendment / Oslo Boat Ramp <br /> 11 -21 -08 <br />
