SUBMITTALS <br /> �. PART 1 : GENERAL, <br /> 1 .01 DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS <br /> s <br /> A. This Section specifies the general methods and requirements of submissions applicable to <br /> the following work-related submittals: Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples, <br /> Construction Photographs, and Construction or Submittal Schedules. Additional general <br /> submission requirements are contained in the General Conditions. Detailed submittal <br /> requirements will be specified in the technical specifications sections. <br /> B . All submittals shall be clearly identified by reference to Specification Section, Paragraph, <br /> Drawing No. or Detail as applicable. Submittals shall be clear and legible and of <br /> • sufficient size for sufficient presentation of data. <br /> 1 .02 SHOP DRAWINGS, PRODUCT DATA, SAMPLES <br /> r <br /> A. Shop Drawings <br /> 1 . Shop drawings include, but are not necessarily limited to, custom-prepared data <br /> such as fabrication and erection/installation (working) drawings, scheduled <br /> information, setting diagrams, actual shop work manufacturing instructions, <br /> custom templates, special wiring diagrams, coordination drawings, individual <br /> system or equipment inspection and test reports including performance curves and <br /> certifications, as applicable to the Work. <br /> r <br /> 2 . The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for submitting the shop drawings at the <br /> r <br /> proper time so as to prevent delays in delivery of materials. <br /> 3 . The CONTRACTOR shall check all subcontractors ' shop drawings regarding <br /> measurements, size of members, materials, and details to satisfy himself that they <br /> conform to the intent of the Drawings and Specifications. Shop drawings found <br /> to be inaccurate or otherwise in error shall be returned to the subcontractors for <br /> correction before submission thereof. <br /> 4. All details on shop drawings submitted for approval shall show clearly the <br /> relation of the various parts to the main members and lines of the structure, and <br /> where correct fabrication of the work depends upon field measurements, such <br /> measurements shall be made and noted on the drawings before being submitted <br /> for approval. <br /> 5 . Submittals for equipment shall include a listing of all installations where identical <br /> or similar material has been installed and been in operation for a period of at least <br /> one year. <br /> B . Product Data <br /> 1 . Product data include, but are not necessarily limited to, standard prepared data for <br /> .. manufactured products (sometimes referred to as catalog data), such as the manufacturer's <br /> product specification and installation instructions, availability of colors and patterns, <br /> Page 16 of 40 <br />
