InterAct ' s solutions are designed with one goal in <br /> mind - to provide split-second response for agencies in the most critical of times . Their <br /> leading-edge software applications offer a multitude of intuitive , easy-to-use features that <br /> better enable dispatchers to manage their calls, incident tracking , mapping , records, <br /> database access and dispatching . <br /> InterAct ' s mapping application is used in conjuction with Aegis ' CAD software . As 911 calls <br /> a come in , they are fed into a database, processed by the InterAct system , and maps are <br /> generated . Department staff indicated that this workflow currently is adequate ; however, <br /> there was a stated need to improve address information for the County so that calls can be <br /> mapped more accurately. The workflow can be greatly improved with the countywide <br />" implementation of an address point layer.
