As part of the County ' s objective to migrate to a more robust Internet GIS data browser, the <br /> Engineering Division should coordinate with the recommended GIS Director to integrate <br /> departmental GIS data into the Internet-based application . As aforementioned , it is expected that Department staff, especially <br /> the recommended GIS Specialist as well as existing Engineering Technicians, will eventually <br /> gain increasing levels of GIS skill and knowledge . It is recommended that several Public <br /> Works employees , particularly the Engineering Technicians as well as two individuals in the <br /> Traffic Engineering Division receive formal training in ArcGIS .
