SECTION 01010 <br /> SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> 1 . 1 GENERAL <br /> A . The summary of the Work described in this Section is an overall summary of the <br /> ' responsibilities of the CONTRACTOR and his relation to the OWNER . <br /> 1 . 2 LOCATION OF WORK <br /> ' A . The proposed work is located in the Harmon Oaks Conservation Area in southern <br /> p p y <br /> Indian River County, directly east of U . S . Highway No . 1 and directly south of Vero <br /> Shores Subdivision . <br /> 1 . 3 WORK TO BE DONE <br /> A . To determine the full scope of the project or any particular part of the project , <br /> coordinate the applicable information in the various parts of these Contract <br /> Documents . In general , this Contract covers the restoration and enhancement of a <br /> portion of the Harmony Oaks Conservation Area (Conservation Area ) as mitigation <br /> for the destruction of existing wetlands by Indian River County at another County <br /> project. Work includes but is not limited to , clearing and grading approximately 4 . 98 <br /> acres of the Conservation Area and restoring it to pre-developed conditions by re- <br /> contouring it to approximately existing elevations and planting native vegetation ; <br /> hand clearing exotic vegetation (dead and alive ) including any debris , from <br /> approximately 2 . 08 acres of the Conservation Area , and maintaining (eighty percent <br /> survival rate ) all of the new vegetation for a period of five years after initial planting <br /> and acceptance by the OWNER . <br /> ' Be Furnish all the labor, materials , equipment, tools , plant , supervision , transportation , <br /> safety control , traffic control , services , incidentals , etc. to complete all of the work in <br /> a first-class workmanlike manner as required by the Contract Documents to the full <br /> ' and complete satisfaction of the Owner. All work shall be performed by craftsmen <br /> skilled in their trade . <br /> ' C . Work shall include all repairs , replacements and restoration required as a result of <br /> damages caused during the construction process . <br /> ' D . Furnish and install all materials , equipment and labor which are reasonably and <br /> properly inferable and necessary for the proper completion of the work, even though <br /> said materials , equipment and labor may not be specifically indicated in the Contract <br /> ' Last Revised 3/11 /03 01010- 1 HARMONY OAKS <br /> F.
