i <br /> CONTRACTOR will not be entitled to any adjustment in a unit bid price as a result <br /> of any change in an estimated quantity and agrees to accept the aforesaid unit bid <br /> prices as complete and total compensation for any additions or deductions caused <br /> by a variation in quantities as a result of more accurate measurement , or by any <br /> changes or alterations in the Work ordered by OWNER , and for use in the <br /> computation of the value of the Work performed for progress payments . <br /> 1 . 3 RELATED PROVISIONS <br /> A. Payments to CONTRACTOR : Refer to General Conditions and Agreement . <br /> tB . Changes in Contract Price : Refer to General Conditions . <br /> 1 . 4 SPECIAL COMMENTS RELATED TO PAYMENT <br /> A . As discussed in Section 02239 , Part 2 of the Contract (" Five-Year Maintenance of <br /> Wetland Mitigation Area ") requires the CONTRACTOR to maintain the wetland <br /> mitigation area for a period of five years following final acceptance of the Work by <br /> the OWNER . Final acceptance by the OWNER occurs after all grading , planting , <br /> and other construction and clean -up activities included in Part 1 of the Contract are <br /> complete and the site is compliance with the St . Johns River Water Management <br /> District (SJRWMD ) permit conditions . (Le . The Work has been constructed to the <br /> satisfaction of the OWNER and permitting authorities and consequently, the <br /> CONTRACTOR is ready to vacate the site . ) At this final acceptance point , the <br /> CONTRACTOR may submit a final pay request to the OWNER for Part 1 of the <br /> Contract and also request release of all retainage for Part 1 of the Contract . <br /> Payment for Part 2 of the Contract will be made in six-month increments , beginning <br /> six months after the date of final acceptance by the OWNER . The CONTRACTOR <br /> may request that one-half of each particular year's worth of retainage be released at <br /> ' the end of that particular year. Assuming the CONTRACTOR has satisfactory <br /> performed , the ENGINEER will then request that the OWNER pay CONTRACTOR <br /> said portion of retainage .
