Mrs. Gladys Vigliano, County Welfare Worker, appeared before <br />the Board and gave her report for the month of August. She stated that <br />Mrs. Yeargin needed assistance for nursing home care. After some dis- <br />cussion, Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commis- <br />sioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the county pay $85.00 per <br />month as a portion of the cost of nursing care. <br />Mr. Bill Payne appeared before the Board with a request that <br />the Board consider a catwalk on the Sebastian Inlet Bridge. The Chairman <br />advised him that the proper place for his request is with the State Road <br />Department and suggested that he go directly to them. <br />Mrs. Showalter, Mr. Miller and others appeared before the <br />Board and gave reasons and submitted petitions to have the voting place <br />for precinct 5B changed. After a discussion, Motion was made by Commis- <br />sioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously <br />carried, that the voting place for precinct 5B be moved to the Osceola <br />School, if this is satisfactory to the School Board and a Resolution <br />prepared regarding same. <br />Mr."Kinky" Orth appeared before the Board and requested informa- <br />tion as to the Board's decision as to the disbursement of the surplus <br />monies of the Florida Development Commission. The County Attorney advised <br />him that he had not received an opinion from the Attorney General, there - <br />fare, could not answer his question. <br />Bristol C. Colley and Hudie Johnson, employees of Holly Jackson, <br />8ubmitted.application for pistol permits. After hearing discussion by <br />Holly Jackson -and the recommendations of the Sheriff, Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Waddell •and unanimously <br />carried, that -in view of the Sheriff's opinion and recommendations, the <br />permits be denied. <br />•A representative of the Addressograph Company appeared before <br />the.Board and -answered questions relative.to the service contract for <br />the various ma4phines in the Courthouse. The County Attorney was instruct- <br />ed.eo revise the contract and present for approval at a later date. <br />Ralph Lundy,* Gifford,'appeared before the Board and requested <br />
