After Some discussion, the County Engineer was re- <br />quested to make a survey as to right-of-way, etc. <br />• Arthur Lee Henderson appeared before the Board and requested <br />the county to abandon a street that,crossed over one of his lots. He <br />was advised that he would have to get an attorney to handle the legal end. <br />Walter Jackson, of the Wabasss Civic League, stated that school <br />had -started and that road signs had not been placed in the school area. <br />The County Engineer advised him that there had been a new sign law and <br />he was waiting for the new signs that he thought would be available very <br />soon. He also inquired about the building that is to be placed on a <br />lot in Wabasso for the health department. The County Engineer stated <br />that the deed had been signed giving title to the county but had not been <br />recorded. He was requested to give the deed to the County Attorney for <br />his approval before recording. The building could not be moved on the <br />lot until such time as the title is vested in the county. <br />The County Engineer presented a bid from Mike Woodard of <br />Woodard Sheet Metal Company, in the amount of $473.00 for repair on the <br />roof on the South end of the Courthouse. Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, <br />that the roof be repaired by Mike Woodard on the terms and specifications <br />submitted in the bid, and filed in the bid file of the County records. <br />The Chairman read a letter from Arthur A. Proulx, C. J. Vance, <br />Milton Fuller and others, owners of a part of Sebastian Inlet Subdivision, <br />that stated they would give right-of-way for AIA for the sum of $100,000.00 <br />plus other conditions, that the county will vacate all existing streets <br />as shown on the recorded plat of the Sebastian Inlet Subdivision and will <br />also provide a private service entrance to the remaining property from the <br />bridge and road connecting therewith. No action was taken on the offer. <br />A memorandum to the Board with regard to secondary road projects <br />was presented to the Board by the County Attorney and the following action <br />taken. <br />
