It was authorized to pay Mr. and Mrs. Holtzclaw $100.00 for <br />Parcel 157.1, being $50.00 from Secondary Funds and $50.00 from the Road <br />and Bridge Fund. As further consideration, it was authorized to perform <br />the work of cutting down ten trees for the Grantors, but not, however, to <br />remove the roots from the ground nor to haul the felled trees from the <br />premises. <br />6. It was authorized to pay Mrs. Spyrison $630.00 for Parcel <br />159.1„ being from Secondary Funds. <br />7. The offer of Mr. and Mrs. Mockridge of $2,600.00 was rejected, <br />and it was authorized to counter-offer $2,346.00 for Parcel 156.1, being <br />$1,996.00 from Secondary Funds and $350.00 from the Road and Bridge Fund. <br />8. The offer of Mr. and Mrs. Weifenbach of $1,297.00 was rejected, <br />and it was authorized to counter-offer $805.00 for parcel 158.1, being <br />$655.00 from Secondary Funds and $150.00 from the Road and Bridge Fund.' <br />Ed Schmucker, County Engineer, reported that he had checked the <br />right of way for a'street in Gifford that would run along the West side of <br />of the railway track and that he had found it to be high and dry. After <br />some discussion, the Chairman suggested that he check to see if he could <br />get the right of way before taking any further action. <br />The County Engineer reported that Mr. Lowenstein had appeared <br />before the Zoning Board and requested a zoning change on Oslo road and the <br />following change was approved by them Re -zone 330 feet either side of <br />centerline of Oslo road from a point 660 feet East of the centerline of U. S. <br />Highway No. l'East to the Indian River from R1A Residential to C1A Restricted <br />Commercial. Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commission- <br />er Waddell and.unanimously carried, that the recommendations 9f the .Zoning <br />Board was tentatively approved. <br />It was'authorized'by the Board that the Courthouse be'closed, <br />Monday,` December 24 for Christmas. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner.
