Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address <br />of the bidder on the outside and the words "Paving and Drainage Improvements to 17th Lane <br />.SW from 27th Avenue to East approx, 900', 20 Avenue from 215 Street SW to 17 thLane SW <br />and 17th Lane from Falcon Trace Project Entrance to 20 Avenue". Bids should be addressed <br />to Purchasing Division, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. Copies of the plans and specifications containing the <br />necessary contract documents may be obtained by deposit of a check made payable to Indian <br />River County, in the amount of $100.00 for each set, which represents cost of printing and <br />handling, which is non refundable. Communications concerning this bid shall be directed to <br />IRC Purchasing Department at 772-226-1416. <br />All bids shall be submitted in duplicate on the Bid Proposal forms provided within the <br />specifications. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in the form of an AIA <br />Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety, or a <br />certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the State <br />of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total <br />amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners.
