the event the Contract is awarded to the Bidder, Bidder will enter into a Contract with the <br />County and furnish the required 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond within the <br />timeframe set by the County. If Bidder fails to do so, the Bid Security shall retained by the <br />County as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. Please note that the questionnaire must be <br />filled out completely including the financial statement. <br />The County reserves the right to delay awarding of the Contract for a period of sixty 60 <br />days after the bid opening, to waive informalities in any bid, or reject any or all bids in whole or <br />in part with or without cause, or to accept the bid that, in its judgment, will serve the best <br />interest of Indian River County, Florida. The County will not reimburse any Bidder for bid <br />preparation costs. <br />A Pre -Bid Conference will be held on Sept. 3, 2008 at 10:00 PM, in the first floor conference <br />room of the Indian River County Administration Building located at 1801 27th Street, Building B <br />Vero Beach, Florida, 32960.
