SECTION 01720 <br />Record Documents <br />1.1 GENERAL <br />A. Maintain and provide the ENGINEER with record documents as specified <br />below, except where otherwise specified or modified in Divisions 2-16 or the <br />Supplementary Conditions, <br />B. Maintenance of Documents: <br />1. Maintain in CONTRACTOR's field office in clean, dry, legible condition <br />complete sets of the following: Drawings, Specifications, Addenda, <br />approved Shop Drawings, samples, photographs, Change Orders, other <br />modifications of Contract Documents, test records, survey data, Field <br />Orders, and all other documents pertinent to CONTRACTOR'S Work. <br />2. Provide files and racks for proper storage and easy access. <br />3. Make documents available at all times for inspection by ENGINEER and <br />OWNER. <br />4. Do not use record documents for any other purpose and do not remove <br />them from the field office. <br />C. Recording: <br />1. Label each document "PROJECT RECORD" in 2 -inch high printed letters. <br />2. Keep record documents current. <br />3. Do not permanently conceal any Work until required information has been <br />recorded. <br />1.2 RECORD DRAWINGS <br />During the entire construction operation, the CONTRACTOR shall maintain <br />records of all deviations from the Drawings and Specifications and shall <br />prepare therefrom "record" drawings showing correctly and accurately all <br />changes and deviations from the work, made during construction to reflect the <br />work as it was actually constructed. The following items are required to be <br />shown on County project record drawings: <br />1. Right-of-way Swale/Drainage — All culvert inverts; inlet grate and bottom <br />elevations; swale beginning and end bottom elevations; and highs and lows <br />along top of bank. Size of swale. <br />2. Pipe Culvert/PVC Sleeves — All inverts, stations and offsets. <br />3. Outfalls — All pipe inverts, weir box elevations, weir elevation, and sizes. <br />4. Roadway/Off Site Drainage — All inverts; manhole top elevation; grate top <br />elevations. <br />5.
