OIL <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> KING'S HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> (OSLO ROAD TO 26TH STREET) <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 17 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. AND <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br /> This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement <br /> (AGREEMENT) dated November 1, 1994, between Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. <br /> (ENGINEER) and Indian River County (COUNTY). This amendment addresses changes in <br /> "Section I - Project Limits and Description", "Section III - Scope of Services", and "Section V - <br /> Compensation" of the AGREEMENT. <br /> Amendment Description <br /> This Amendment includes the following: <br /> "Section I — PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION" is being modified to incorporate the <br /> following: <br /> The COUNTY would like to permit and construct, approximately 1300 linear feet of 12" <br /> water main from the Kings Highway corridor to tie into the existing terminus of an 12" <br /> water main on east leg of 41h Street. The water main extension will go beyond the current <br /> limits of the 4h Street roadway improvements on the east leg and will require a partial <br /> reconstruction of the roadway for approximately 800 linear feet. This utility extension <br /> will require permitting through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection <br /> (FDEP). <br /> "SECTION III—SCOPE OF SERVICES" is being modified to incorporate the following: <br /> Task 1 —Utility Design <br /> The Consultant will develop construction documents to detail the construction of the <br /> 1300 linear foot water main extension and roadway reconstruction. The utility <br /> improvement will require the addition or modification of the following Kings Highway <br /> construction plan sheets: <br /> • Two utility plan sheets <br /> • One roadway cross section sheet <br />
