B. Within 30 days after the effective date of the Agreement, submit to the Resident Project <br />Representative, data relating to materials and equipment proposed to be furnished for the <br />work. Such data shall be in sufficient detail to enable the Resident Project Representative <br />or Engineer to identify the particular product and to form an opinion as to its conformity to <br />the specifications. The data shall comply with Section 01340. <br />C. Facilities and labor for handling and inspection of all materials and equipment shall be <br />furnished by the Contractor. If the Resident Project Representative or Engineer requires, <br />either prior to beginning or during the progress of the work, submit samples of materials <br />for such special tests as may be necessary to demonstrate that they conform to the <br />specifications. Such samples shall be furnished, stored, packed, and shipped as directed at <br />the Contractor's expense. Except as otherwise noted, the Owner will make arrangements <br />for and pay for the tests. <br />D. Submit data and samples sufficiently early to permit consideration and approval before <br />materials are necessary for incorporation in the work. Any delay of approval resulting <br />from the failure to submit samples or data promptly shall not be used as a basis of claim <br />against the Owner or the Engineer. <br />E. In order to demonstrate the proficiency of workmen or to facilitate the choice among <br />several textures, types, finishes and surfaces, provide such samples of workmanship or <br />finish as may be required. <br />F. The materials and equipment used on the work shall correspond to the approved samples <br />or other data. <br />1.04 MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION <br />A. When Contract Documents require that installation of work shall comply with <br />manufacturees printed instructions, obtain and distribute copies of such instructions to <br />parties involved in the installation, including five copies to the Resident Project <br />Representative. <br />1. Maintain one set of complete instructions at the job site during installation and <br />until completion. <br />B. Handle, install, connect, clean, condition and adjust products in strict accord with such <br />instructions and in conformity with specified requirements. <br />1. Should job conditions or specified requirements conflict with manufacturer's <br />instructions, consult with Resident Project Representative for further instructions. <br />2. Do not proceed with work without clear instructions. <br />C. Perform work in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Do not omit any preparatory <br />step or installation procedure unless specifically modified or exempted by Contract <br />Documents. <br />1905 TRANSPORTATION AND HANDLING <br />A.
