SECTION 01730 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 DESCRIPTION <br />A. Scope of Work: <br />1. Compile product data and related information appropriate for Owner's <br />maintenance and operation of products furnished under Contract. <br />2. Prepare operating and maintenance data as specified in this Section and as <br />referenced in other pertinent sections of Specifications. <br />3, Instruct Owner's personnel in maintenance of products and in operation of <br />equipment and systems. <br />4. Assemble individual equipment O&M manuals into multiple volume overall <br />manual sets in a similar format. <br />5. Submit O&M manuals in hard copy and CD or DVD. <br />6. Electronic copy shall be in PDF format. The electronic copy shall have Bookmark <br />chapters that replicate the hardcopy's Table of Contents. <br />1.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Preparation of data shall be done by personnel: <br />1. Trained and experienced in maintenance and operation of described products. <br />2. Familiar with requirements of this Section. <br />3. Skilled as a technical writer to the extent required to communicate essential data. <br />4, Skilled as draftsman competent to prepare required drawings. <br />1.03 FORM OF SUBMITTALS <br />A.
