B. Format: <br />1. Size: 8 1/2 -inches x 11 inches. <br />2. Paper: 20 pound minimum, white, for typed pages. <br />3. Text: Manufacturer's printed data, or neatly typewritten. <br />4. Drawings: <br />a) Provide reinforced punched binder tab, bind in with text. <br />b) Reduce larger drawings and fold to size of text pages but not larger than <br />11 inches x 17 inches. <br />5. Provide fly -leaf for each separate product, or each piece of operating equipment <br />separated by a Section Tab. <br />a) Provide typed description of products and major component parts of <br />equipment. <br />b) Provide indexed tabs to separate the individual product within each binder <br />volume. <br />6. Cover: Identify each individual volume with typed or printed title "OPERATING <br />AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS". An example cover and spine is <br />presented in Table 01730-3. List: <br />a) Title of Project. <br />b) Identity of separate structure as applicable. <br />C) Identity of general subject matter covered in the manual. <br />C. Binders: <br />1. Commercial quality heavy duty EZD VIEW three D -ring binders with durable and <br />cleanable plastic covers in black or white. <br />2. Maximum post width: 3 inches. <br />3. When multiple binders are used, correlate the data into related consistent <br />groupings. <br />D.
