Section 15100 — Piping and Valves <br /> 1 .03 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Submit shop drawings in accordance with Section 01300 . <br /> B . Submit dimensional drawings and installation details. Submit manufacturer' s catalog data and <br /> descriptive literature, describing materials of construction by ASTM reference and grade. <br /> C. Submit mixing calculations demonstrating mixer will provide dispersion and mixing of <br /> chemicals injected into and upstream of mixer. <br /> PART 2 — MATERIALS <br /> 2.01 MANUFACTURERS <br /> i <br /> Mixers shall be as manufactured by KoFlo Corporation, Koch Engineering Company, or <br /> Komax Systems. <br /> 2.02 MIXER DESIGN <br /> A. The mixers shall be the static in-line type for turbulent mixing with no moving parts. The <br /> mixer shall produce homogenous mixing, blending, and dispersion of sulfuric acid in <br /> water. <br /> fB . Mixing shall be from stationary, removable elements arranged to split and recombine <br /> component streams to provide a homogenous stream at the mixer outlet. The minimum <br /> IReynolds number for mixing shall be RF>3000. <br /> C. The mixer element shall be fabricated from one piece and be fitted for insertion into the <br /> mixer housing and be fabricated of 316 ss. <br /> D.
