Circuit breakers shall be molded case , bolt-in type . <br /> C . Each circuit breaker used in 277 /480 Volt and 480 Volt panelboards shall have an interrupting <br /> capacity of not less than 45 ,000 Amps, RMS symmetrical . <br /> D . Circuit breakers shall be manufactured by the panelboard manufacturer . <br /> PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> 3 .01 INSTALLATION <br /> A. Mount boxes for surface mounted panelboards so there is at least 2-in air space between the <br /> box and the wall . <br /> B . Install markers on the front cover of all panelboards which identify the voltage rating. Markers <br /> shall be made of self sticking B -500 vinyl cloth printed with black characters on an Alert <br /> Orange background, 2- 1 /4-in high by 9-in wide, Style A as manufactured by W.H. Brady Co. <br /> or equal . <br /> C . Install a 1 -in by 3 -in nominal laminated plastic nameplate with 1 /2-in white letters on a black <br /> background on each panelboard. Nameplates shall be stainless steel screw mounted. <br /> D. Top of cabinets shall be mounted 6 feet-0-inch above the floor, properly aligned and adequately <br /> supported independently of the connecting raceways. <br /> E . All wiring in panelboards shall be neatly formed, grouped, and identified to provide a neat and <br /> orderly appearance . A typewritten directory card identifying all circuits shall be placed in the <br /> card holder inside the front cover. <br /> F . All panelboards shall be protected from physical damage, water damage, moisture, corrosion, <br /> dirt and dust during construction. Any panelboard judged to be unacceptable by the Owner' s <br /> j Representative shall be replaced by the Contractor at no additional cost to the Owner. <br /> 3 .02 CLEANING <br /> I <br /> A. Remove all rubbish and debris from inside and around the equipment. Remove dirt, dust or <br /> concrete spatter from the interior and exterior of the equipment using brushes, vacuum cleaner <br /> ( or clean lint-free rags.
