Vertical section bus : Tin plated copper, full height, totally insulated and isolated by glass <br /> polyester barriers with shutters to cover stab openings when units are withdrawn. Provide <br /> fishtape barriers to isolate bottom wireways from lower ends of vertical bus. <br /> 3 . Vertical buses used for a tie circuit breaker or tie feeder lugs shall be rated for a <br /> continuous capacity equivalent to the main horizontal bus rating. <br /> I <br /> 4 . Horizontal ground bus : Provide a 1 /4-inch by 2 -inch (minimum) tin plated copper <br /> uninsulated ground bus in each section equipped with lugs for termination of feeder and <br /> j branch circuit ground conductors . Connect to ground bus in adjacent sections with splice <br /> plates. <br /> 5 . The buses shall be sized for a maximum current density of 1200 Amps per square inch. <br /> I <br /> E. Wiring <br /> I1 . Wiring: Stranded copper, minimum size No. 14 AWG, with 600 Volt, 90 degree C, flame <br /> retardant, Type MTW thermoplastic insulation, NEMA Class U-S , Type B . Line side <br /> 1 power wiring shall be sized for the full rating or frame size of the connected device. <br /> 2 .
