Megger incoming line terminals and buses, phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground after <br /> disconnecting devices sensitive to megger voltage . <br /> 2 . Remove current transformer shunts after completing secondary circuit. Check polarity and <br /> continuity of metering and relaying circuits. <br /> 3 . Check mechanical interlocks for proper operation. <br /> 4 . Test ground connections for continuity and resistance. <br /> i5 . Adjust unit compartment doors . <br /> 6 . Check control circuit interlocking and continuity with starters in the TEST position . <br /> Provide external source of control power for this test. <br /> 7 . Adjust motor circuit protectors and voltage trip devices to their correct settings. <br /> i8 . Install overload heaters for actual motor nameplate currents. <br /> B . In the event of an equipment fault, the cause of the fault shall be identified and corrected, . a <br /> joint inspection of the equipment shall be conducted by the Contractor, Owner' s <br /> l Representative, Owner and the equipment manufacturers factory service technician. <br /> I3 .03 ADJUSTMENT <br /> A. The motor control center manufacturer shall provide the services of a factory trained service <br /> t technician for start-up and training of the Owner's personnel . The first trip shall be coordinated <br /> with the equipment start-up . The second trip shall include any necessary follow-up or punch list <br /> work and shall also include instructions to the Owner or to his/her designated personnel.
