Wednesday, February 19, 1986 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />February 19, 1986, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice Chairman; Richard <br />N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; L. S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Director of Intergovernmental Relations; OMB <br />Director Joseph Baird; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Fred McCellan of First Presbyterian Church gave the <br />invocation, and Commissioner Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Administrator Wright requested three additions to today's <br />Agenda: <br />1) A budget amendment which deals with the.race track funds and <br />the necessary money for dune restoration at Wabasso and Tracking <br />Station Parks. <br />2) Selection of two firms to do the bid preparation and <br />estimating of construction costs for the second phase of the <br />Jail. <br />.3) Report on the Data Processing Committee <br />Chairman Lyons requested the addition to today's Consent <br />Agenda of Item I - Street Closing in Forest Park Subdivision on <br />March 26th for Block Party. <br />FEB 19 1986 BOOK -63 mu 630 <br />
