Tuesday, October 20, 1987 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />October 20, 1987, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; <br />Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also <br />present were Charles P. Balczun, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Comnissioners; Joseph <br />Baird, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Bruce Havens of the United Church of Sebastian gave the <br />invocation, and Commissioner Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Bird requested the addition to today's Agenda <br />of authorization to reestablish the City/County Bike Path <br />Committee. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously added <br />the above item to today's Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any changes or additions to <br />the Minutes of the Special Meeting of September 29, 1987.
