Wednesday, December 15, 1987 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />December 15, 1987, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; <br />Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also <br />present were Charles P. Balczun, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph <br />Baird, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Bob Dickinson of Asbury Methodist Church gave the <br />invocation, and Commissioner Bowman led the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Scurlock requested the addition to today's Agenda <br />of a termination of a lease between Indian River County and the <br />School Board for space for the Sheriff's Detective Division. <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the additions of a discussion <br />regarding funding for alcohol drug abuse programs with the Mental <br />Health Center, Inc. and a short report on the new library <br />projects. <br />Commissioner Bird requested the addition of a Parks 8 <br />Recreation Committee report. <br />Attorney Vitunac requested the deletion of Item 13 - <br />Agreement, Utility Services at Ryanwood. <br />SEC 151987 BOOK <br />Q F'.c.�,6 <br />
