NEC NEC Unified Solutions , Inc . <br /> Customer shall be responsible for the following : <br /> 9 . 11 . Provide information as required for System installation in an NEC-approved format. <br /> This may include information necessary for the integration/extension into Active <br /> Directory , NT 4 domain importation , or integration into Exchange , Lotus Notes , or <br /> Novell GroupWise . <br /> 9 . 12 . Provide user directories or lists , numbering plan , security levels , restrictions , and <br /> access privileges to be implemented on the System . <br /> 9 . 13 . Provide appropriate network accounts and privileges necessary to implement Unified <br /> Messaging solution . <br /> 9 . 14 . Submit changes for Active Directory schema before pre-agreed freeze date ( no fewer <br /> than 10 days prior to cutover) . <br /> 9 . 15 . Approve System database for implementation . Database changes must be submitted <br /> in writing by Cutoff Date . <br /> 9 . 16 . Ensuring that necessary PBX hardware/software additions or changes , and that all <br /> applicable system programming , is completed in a timely manner in accordance with <br /> the project schedule ( if work not being performed by NEC ) . <br /> 9 . 17 . If PBX is not being supplied or supported by NEC , provide PBX database information <br /> and other details that are relevant to the Unified Messaging System installation ( i . e . , <br /> station numbering plan , directory listings , list of assigned extensions and locations , <br /> feature access codes , etc . ) . <br /> 10 . System Hardware Installation - VoiceMail / Unified Messaging <br /> NEC shall be responsible for the following : <br /> 10 . 1 . Assembly and installation of NEC -provided server hardware , server rack , rack <br /> infrastructure , uninterrupted power supply within the Customer' s computer room . <br /> 10 . 2 . Install Dialogic cards into server required for connectivity of server to PBX ( non -TAPI <br /> installation ) <br /> 10 . 3 . Power- up and testing of power system ( POST ) . <br /> 10 . 4 . Installation of server operating system and preparation for installation of unified <br /> messaging applications and services . <br /> 10 . 5 . Connectivity of Unified Messaging server(s ) to customer LAN with assistance of <br /> customer network personnel or specified vendor. <br /> 10 . 6 . Determine status of LAN /WAN , VPN , or dial up connections that will be made to the <br /> system for normal usage . <br /> 10 . 7 . Connect remote maintenance access applications or hardware to support NEC for <br /> remote monitoring of system for duration of warranty and monitoring period ( if <br /> applicable ) <br /> Customer shall be responsible for the following : <br /> 10 . 8 . Mutual identification of installation location . Ensure all power and cabling <br /> requirements are accessible to this location . <br /> 10 . 9 . Ensure HVAC capacity accommodates introduction of server and network <br /> infrastructure being implemented . <br /> 11 .
