Indian River County Turner <br /> Administration Complex <br /> Final GMP Summary <br /> Qualifications & Assumptions <br /> Report Date : August 16, 2005 <br /> 23 Living and travel for the following positions are to be reimbursable <br /> Project Manager , Project Engineers , Project Superintendent , Site Safety Engineer . <br /> 24 The GMP amount does not include the preconstruction phase services cost . <br /> 25 The Construction Manager will engage Turner Logistics LLC for technical supply chain <br /> management services to competitively bid , purchase , expedite , and manage the delivery <br /> of major equipment and material . By doing so , multiple mark- ups from subcontractors <br /> and distributors ( historically averaging 20 to 25%) will be avoided . Turner Logistics Cost <br /> of Services ( COS) shall be reimbursed at the rate of 10 % for all such equipment and <br /> material purchased through this additional service . Historically this results in net savings <br /> to the Owner of 10 % to 15 % . Turner Logistics compensation [including all equipment , <br /> material , applicable taxes and Logistics ' COS] shall be based on the approved GMP value <br /> submitted . The cost of services along with applicable taxes shall be included in the GMP <br /> proposal . This equipment will also be part of the Owner Direct Purchase Program , <br /> providing further savings to the Owner . <br /> Bid Package 2 Sitework <br /> Specifications : <br /> 1 Civil specification sections were not provided . Notes on the drawings are acknowledged <br /> as specifications . <br /> Drawings : <br /> 1 Vertical header curbs are included around landscape islands and not included at ends of <br /> parking spaces with wheel stops . <br /> 2 The temporary parking lot scope of work is included as follows : <br /> a . Remove curb in two locations for entrance and exit to the lot as indicated on the <br /> drawing . <br /> b . Provide new radius header curbs to establish entrances and exits to the lot as <br /> indicated on the drawing . <br /> c . Excavate and provide stone base and asphalt at the first 24' from the streets at the <br /> entrances and exits to the lot as indicated on the drawing . <br /> d . Spray the entire temporary parking area of lot with Round - up or similar all purpose <br /> herbicide to eliminate all grass and weeds from the area of the lot . <br /> e . The Owner will deliver mulch to the area of the iot and Turner shall distribute and <br /> evenly spread the mulch over the surface of the lot . <br /> f . Provide parking I}locks as indicated on the drawing . Each parking block to be secured <br /> in place with 2 each 24" long #4 rebar . <br /> g . Provide stop signs at each exit of the lot . <br /> h . Remove all wheel stops and mulch , sod with bahia sod and restore lot to its original <br /> condition when directed by Owner . <br /> Page 5 /�o / <br />
