George Heath, Attorney for Takaho Corporation, appeared before the <br />Board in regard to the proposed extension of North Gifford <br />Road through <br />their property to Ranch Road. He stated that the Corporation wanted to <br />develop the property as a unit and were willing to give the right of way <br />needed either on the North end of the property or on the South end of <br />the property. Placing the road on the South end would mean an extra <br />mile of paving which the Corporation was willing to pay for. The <br />Board delayed any further action until the next regular meeting to be <br />held on February 10, 1965, at which time officers of the Corporation <br />will meet with the Board. <br />Homer C. Fletcher, Tax Assessor, appeared before the Board and <br />requested the Board's approval to correct the 1964 Tax Roll on the following <br />property: Lot 3, less E 100 feet, Albrecht Acres Subdivisions west 215 <br />feet of the North 115 feet of Lot 4, Albrecht Acres subdivision: and <br />Commencing at the SE corner of E 10A of S1 of SW'.;, thence run North 800 <br />feet to p.o.b., thence run W 150 feet, thence run N 50 feet, thence E 150 ft, <br />run S 50 feet to p.o.b as in OR Bk 167 PP 572. On Motion made by <br />Commissioner Mccullers, seconded by Commissioner Haffield and unanimously <br />carried, the request was granted. • <br />On Notion made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hatfield and unanimously carried, all members of the Board, the County <br />Attorney and the County Engineer were authorized to attend the County <br />Short Course in Tallahassee on January 17, 18, and 19, 1965. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried that all members of the Board, the <br />County Engineer, the County Attorney and Eugene Hamilton, Road Forman, <br />be authorized to attend the Mid -year Conference of County Commissioners <br />to be held in Cocoa Beach on February 16, 19 and 20, 1964.."The County <br />Engineer was requested to write Cape Colony Inn for reservations. <br />
