<br />GARAGE, PUBLIC: A building, or portion thereof,

<br />GARAGE, STORAGE: Any building or premises, other than a private or public garage,•
<br />used exclusively for the parking or storage of motor vehicles.
<br />GREEN HOUSES: A building where the temperature and humidity can be regulated for
<br />the cultivation of delicate or out of season plants.
<br />GUEST COTTAGE: A guest cottage is a building located on the lot or tract with the main
<br />building and used exclusively by non-paying guests of the family occupying the main building
<br />Wand in which no kitchen or housekeeping faciliticie are provided.
<br />GUEST HOUSE (TOURIST HOME): Any dwelling in which rooms are rented for the tem-
<br />porary care or lodging of transients and travelers for compensation.
<br />HOME OCCUPATION: Any occupationin connection with which there is kept no stock in
<br />trade or commodity sold upon the premises, no person employed other than a member of the
<br />imtnediate family residing upon the premises, and no mechanical equipment used except such
<br />as is permissible for purely domestic household purposes; and in connection with which there
<br />is used no sign or display that will other than that eoexterior dwellithat the building is being utilized
<br />in whole or in part for any purpose
<br />JUNK: Old and dilapidated automobiles, trucks, tractors and other such vehicles and
<br />parts thereof, wagons and other kind of vehicles and parts thereof, household appliances, scrap
<br />building material, scrap contractors equipment, tanks, casks, cans, barrels, boxes, drums,
<br />piping, bottles, glass, old iron, machinery, rags, paper, excelsior, hair, mattresses, beds,
<br />or bedding or any other kind of scrap or waste material which is stored, kept, handled or dis-
<br />played within the County limits.
<br />JUNK VEHICLE: A vehicle which has not had a current license plate within a six month.
<br />period and cannot be moved under its own power.
<br />LODGING (ROOMING) HOUSE: Any house, or other structure, or any place or location
<br />kept, used, maintained, advertised or held out to the public to be a place where living quarters,
<br />sleeping or housekeeping accommodations are supplied for pay to transient or permanent
<br />guests or tenants.
<br />LOT: A parcel of ground which is or may be occupied by a building and accessory build-

<br />LOT, CORNER: A lot abutting upon two (2) or more streets at their intersections.
<br />LOT, DEPTH: The depth of a lot is the distance measured in the mean direction of the
<br />side lines of the lot from the midpoint of the front line to the mid -point of the opposite rear
<br />line of the lot.
<br />LOT, INTERIOR. A lot other than a corner lot.
<br />LOT OF RECORD: A lot which is a part of a subdivision, the plat of which has been
<br />recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Indian River County.
<br />LOT, THRU: An interior lot having frontage on two streets.
<br />LOT WIDTH: The width of a lot is the shortest distance measured between the two side
<br />lot lines.
<br />MARINA: The word "Marina" to be defined as a place for the sales and.service of boats
<br />and marine supplies, however, the word "Marina" spebifically excludes ship building and dry
<br />land storage and larger structural repairs of boats.
