FEB 1019105 <br />9 MCE142 <br />dwelling units, guest rooms, floor area or seats; minimum offstreet automobile parking <br />space 'with adequate provisions for ingress and egress by an automobile of standard size, in <br />accordance with the following requirements: <br />a. Dwelling structures, a minimum of one space for each dwelling unit. <br />b. Churches, Temples, Places of,Worship, Schools, Public Buildings, Theatres, <br />Auditoriums and Places of Assembly: one (1) space for each eight (8) seats <br />in the main auditorium. <br />c. Country, Golf, Gun Club, Private Club and Lodge; one space for each eight <br />(8) members. <br />d. General Business, Commercial or Personal Service Establishments and <br />Office Buildings: one (3.) space for each five hundred (500) square feet of . <br />non -storage area. ' <br />e. Hotels, one (1) space for each three bedrooms plus one (1) additional space <br />for each five (5) employees. <br />f. Hospitals, Sanitariums, Convalescent Homes: one (1) space for each four (4) <br />patient beds, one (1) space for each four (4) staff doctors and one (1) space <br />for each four (4) employees. <br />g. Kennels and animal hospitals, a parking area equal to thirty (30) percent of <br />the total enclosed or covered area. <br />h. Libraries, Museums:. A parking area equal to fifty (50) percent of the floor <br />area open to the public. <br />1. Medical -or dental offices or clinics: Three (3) spaces for each doctor or <br />dentist. <br />Motels, one (1) space for each guest bedroom, phis one (1) space for resident <br />manager or owner. <br />k. Restaurants or other eating places: One (1) space for each seventy-five (75) <br />square feet of floor area devoted to patron use, plus one (1) space for each <br />four (4) employees. <br />1. Rooming, Boarding houses, Dormitories, and Hotel apartments: one (1) <br />space for each two (2) bedrooms. <br />Commercial, manufacturing, and industrial concerns not catering to the retail <br />trade: one (1) space for each four (4) employees on the largest working shift, <br />plus one (1) space for each company vehicle operating from the premises. <br />M. <br />n. Bowling alleys: Five (5) spaces for each bowling lane. <br />LOCATION: <br />a. Parking spaces for all dwellings shall be located on the same lot with the <br />main building to be served, where feasible. <br />b. Parking spaces for other uses shall be provided on the same lot or not more <br />than five hundred (500) feet distant, as measured along the nearest pedestrian <br />walkway. <br />c. Parking requirements for two or more uses, of the same or different types, <br />may be satisfied by the allocation of the required number of spaces for each <br />use in a common parking facility. <br />a <br />-13- <br />
