OCT 6 1965 BOOK 9 PAGE 332 Motion.was made by Commissioner Waddell,seconded by Commissioner' Haffield and unanimously carried that the installation of a street light at the intersection of Kings Highway and Glendale Road upon the completion of the paving of Glendale be approved. Upon Motion`by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, the members of the Board were authorized to inspect certain data processing equipment in Titusville, Orlando and Bartow on Wednesday, October 13. Dr. C. C. Flood, County Physician, submitted a copy of the Internal Auditor's report of the County Health Unit Fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1965, Dr. Flood requested that the method of payment for the position of county physician be changed from salary to fee for service because of recent changes in the Merit System ruling regarding dual employment. Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried that the request be granted. On Motion by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by' Commissioner Haffield and unanimously carried,, licenses to carry firearms were granted to Robert C. Ramsdell and Mrs. Robert C. (Annie Emily) Ramsdell. Bressett and Manuel Lester Reese as•:deputy sheriffs of Indian River County were approved.
