Task 6 . On - Site Biodiversity Monitoring <br /> ETC will assist the County with biodiversity monitoring on the Spoonbill Marsh site following the <br /> protocol for the off- site biodiversity sampling as defined by the Industrial Waste Facility Permit <br /> (Permit Number 31 -FL0166511 ) . This assistance will be limited to selection of the one sample <br /> station in each of the four ponds in the Spoonbill Marsh, and one station in each of the four runnels <br /> downstream of the easternmost runnels connecting the constructed ponds to the existing mangrove <br /> communities adjacent to the Lagoon. Samples will be collected from each of these stations once per <br /> year . The samples will be stored in preservative for identification and analysis at a later date . <br /> The deliverables for this task will be a letter report summarizing the data collected at each station. <br /> Task 7 . Wildlife Survey <br /> ETC will conduct a wildlife survey within the Spoonbill Marsh. This survey will be conducted over <br /> a five day period in December/January and August/September of each year. The survey <br /> methodology will follow Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FFWCC) survey <br /> guidelines . <br /> The deliverables for this task will include a summary report documenting species observed, the <br /> location of roosting and loafing areas, nesting sites , foraging areas , flight patterns , and perching sites . <br /> Task 8 . Operational Monitoring <br /> ETC will assist the County with the operation of the Spoonbill Marsh . This assistance includes <br /> weekly inspection of the site, operation of the water control structures , operation of the flow <br /> monitoring stations WIM-01 and WIM-02 as defined by the Industrial Waste Facility Permit (Permit <br /> Number 31 -FL0166511 ) , location of Brazilian pepper and other nuisance species , identification of <br /> areas needing additional vegetation planting . <br /> There are no scheduled deliverables for this task . <br /> Task 9 . Monthly Discharge Monitoring Report <br /> ETC will prepare of the monthly Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) as required by the Industrial <br /> Waste Facility Permit (Permit Number 31 -FL0166511 ) . This will include a review of the data <br /> required by the Industrial Waste Facility Permit (Permit Number 31 -FLO l 66511 ) and calculation of <br /> the "net environmental benefit" as defined by the Industrial Waste Facility Permit (Permit Number <br /> 3 l -FL0166511 ) . The County will be responsible for signing the monthly DMRs . <br /> Page 3 of 6 <br />
