' SECTION 01410 <br /> ' TESTING LABORATORY SERVICES <br /> PART 1 -- GENERAL <br /> 1 .01 REQUIREMENTS INCLUDED <br /> A . Owner may employ and pay for the services of an independent <br /> ' testing laboratory to perform certain specified testing in addition to <br /> what is called for in the Contract Documents. Owner shall pay for <br /> all additional testing . <br /> ' 1 . Contractor shall cooperate with the laboratory to facilitate <br /> the execution of its required services . <br /> ' 2 . Employment of the laboratory shall in no way relieve <br /> Contractor's obligations to perform the work of the <br /> Contract. <br /> B . Contractor will employ and pay for the services of an independent <br /> testing laboratory to perform certain specified testing . All testing <br /> described in the contract Documents shall be paid for by the <br /> ' Contractor. <br /> 1 .02 RELATED REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. General Conditions of the contract : Inspections and testing <br /> required by laws, ordinances , rules , regulations , orders or <br /> approvals of public authorities . <br /> B . Respective sections of specifications : Certification of Products . <br /> ' 1 .03 QUALIFICATION OF LABORATORY <br /> A. Meet "Recommended Requirements for Independent Laboratory <br /> Qualification , " published by American Council of Independent <br /> Laboratories, <br /> B . Meet basic requirements of ASTM E329 , "Standards of <br /> Recommended Practice for Inspection and Testing Agencies for <br /> Concrete and Steel as Used in Construction . " <br /> ' C . Authorized to operate in the State in which the Project is located . <br /> ' D .
