Clearing Site <br /> Method of Construction (,Cont'd) <br /> When or where andirect or indirect damage or injury is done to public or private ro b or <br /> Y g Jm'3' P P P perty Y <br /> on account of any act, omission, neglect or misconduct, on the part of the Contractor in the <br /> execution of the work, such property shall be restored by the Contractor, at his expense, to a <br /> condition equal to that existing before such damage or injury was done, or he shall make good <br /> such damage or injury in such other manner as may be acceptable to the Engineer. <br /> ' R.F.D . mail boxes shall be removed carefullyand shall be reset at the x <br /> exact locations approved <br /> ' by the Owners and by the Engineer so as to be accessible to the postal carrier without having to <br /> leave the truck. <br /> ' Street and road signs which were removed shall be carefully reset at the exact location and in the <br /> manner required by the public authorities having jurisdiction thereof <br /> Prior to acceptance of the Project, all materials and debris accumulated shall be removed from <br /> the site of the Project and shall be disposed of by the Contractor as herein before specified. The <br /> ground surface shall be graded, if necessary, to eliminate water pockets and the entire site of the <br /> ' Project shall be cleaned up and left in a condition satisfactory to the Engineer. <br /> ' 2 . 1 . 3 . Maintenance and Protection of Traffic <br /> Description <br /> This work consists of the maintenance and protection of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic <br /> within the area of the Project and shall include the furnishing and placing of all flashing warning <br /> 1 lights, signs, barricades and other protective devices; cleaning of streets, providing all necessary <br /> personnel, such as uniformed traffic control officers and flagmen; all in accordance with Indian <br /> River County right-of-way permit; these Specifications and/or as directed by the Engineer. <br /> ' . Traffic Control and Warning Devices <br /> ' Maintenance and protection of traffic for this Project shall conform to the latest edition of the <br /> Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways and its latest edition and <br /> ' addendas, hereinafter referred to as the MUTCD ; Section 102, Maintenance of Traffic of the <br /> Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, as amended, and all other warning <br /> signs and maintenance devices as may be deemed necessary by the Engineer. Design and <br /> ' coloration of barricades, traffic cones and drums shall be in strict conformance with F.D. O.T. <br /> Standard Specifications and Sections 6C-2, 6C-3 , 6C4 of the MUTCD. <br /> ' 3 <br />
