1 . Within fourteen days before construction commences , take photographs of <br /> all areas where construction is to take place . The purpose of the pre- <br /> construction photographs is to determine any damage to private or public <br /> property during construction . These photographs will serve as a record of <br /> existing conditions for disputes arising from the restoration , and shall <br /> therefore clearly depict details of existing conditions . <br /> 2 . Photograph coverage shall include all surface features located within the <br /> zone of influence of construction . Such coverage shall include , but not be <br /> limited to , existing driveways , roadways , bridges , sidewalks , curbs , <br /> pavements , ditches , mailboxes , landscaping , trees , culverts , fences , signs , <br /> and headwalls within the area covered or vicinity of the construction site as <br /> directed by the ENGINEER or ENGINEER' s CONSULTANT . <br /> 3 . No construction shall begin prior to the ENGINEER' s review of the <br /> photographs covering the construction area . <br /> B . Construction Progress Photographs and Other Construction Photographs : <br /> 1 . Take photographs as necessary during construction to clearly document <br /> construction phases , installation of major equipment , and construction <br /> t progress . <br /> 2 . Photograph unusual conditions encountered during construction . <br /> 3 . Submit construction photographs with each pay request for the period <br /> covered by that pay request . <br /> C .
