3.6 TESTS <br />A. The testing laboratory shall provide the following: <br />1. Verify performance of the CONTRACTOR's proposed mix with these <br />Specifications. <br />2. Perform in -plant testing of aggregate, gradation, and bitumen content. <br />Perform at least one test per 100 tons of asphaltic concrete produced or part <br />thereof during each day of operation. <br />3. Using a nuclear gage, determine the density of the finished pavement <br />as compared to the density of the design mix. Fill and compact all <br />core holes to match the pavement properly. <br />4. Take core borings as specified above, to determine pavement thickness.
