E. <br />plants to accomplish the work, they shall be satisfactorily replaced <br />before the work will be accepted or paid for. At a minimum, all <br />areas disturbed by construction shall be sodded. <br />2) Contractor shall pay particular attention to the possible installation of private <br />irrigation systems within sodded portions of the road right -of --way. <br />The Contractor shall take all required precautions to protect and restore <br />such irrigation systems to their original condition. If such systems are <br />damaged or destroyed due to the water main installation, the <br />Contractor shall immediately repair or replace the system. No additional <br />compensation for the repair or replacement of irrigation systems shall be <br />paid to the Contractor other than that included in the unit price bid for <br />"Water Main". <br />Cleanup <br />1) Cleanup is an essential part of the project and this portion of the work will <br />not be considered complete and no payment made until the cleanup is <br />complete to the satisfaction of the Engineer. <br />END OF SECTION <br />02900 — Off -Site Surface Restoration <br />
