Commissioner Macdonald reported that he now finds it possible to <br />acquire 106 acres rather than 38 acres of additional land at the Kiwanis- <br />Hobart Park as was approved at the March 8 meeting, and moved that the <br />Board approve the additional acreage in the application to the Outdoor <br />Recreational Department for acquisition. funds. The Motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner Dritenbas and unanimously carried. <br />In the interest of conservation, Commissioner Macdonald moved, <br />seconded by Commissioner Dritenbas and unanimously carried, that the <br />County Attorney prepare a Notice ::of Public Hearing to be held on a <br />proposed change of the bulkhead line,from the north city limits of <br />Sebastian to the Florida East Coast Railroad bridge across the Sebastian. <br />River,from its present location to the shore line. <br />Commissioner Bogosian suggested that blgns:.showing:.the,fees, rules an( <br />regulations of Sebastian Inlet Park be posted at the entrance to the <br />park and at the concession stand. Commissioner Macdonald was appointed <br />to have the signs erected. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Dritenbas, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian and unanimously carried, that the Clerk be authorized to invest <br />the following surplus funds for a period of six months, as of March 15, <br />1967: $10,000, General Fund, Beach Bank of Vero Beach; $15,000, Fine and <br />Forfeiture Fund, Florida First National Bank; and General Fund,$40,000:.. <br />and Road and:Brjdge,Fund, $60,000, Indian River Citrus Bank. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner <br />Dritenbas and unanimously carried, the following Payrolls for State <br />Witnesses were approved: <br />1. Circuit Court, dated October 24, 1966,. amount of $105.80 <br />2. Circuit Court, dated December 30, 1966, amount of $6.00 <br />3. County Court, dated November 28, 1966, amount of $90.70 <br />4. County Court, dated March 16, 1967, amount of $59.90. <br />* * * *9* * * <br />Commissioner Dritenbas moved that the appointment .of .
