Review, comment, and revision support for the Plan of Study for the West, South and Central <br /> Regional Wastewater Treatment Plants; <br /> Support and comment on Industrial User Surveys ; <br /> Assist in developing implementation procedures and policies that are responsive to USEPA <br /> criteria and adoptable in the County; <br /> Provide Guidance, assistance, input and review to the Program Implementation Procedures <br /> (Draft) to be submitted to FDEP; <br /> Assist in developing protocol for sampling of industrial wastewater contributions and raw <br /> domestic wastewater flows to allow IRCU staff to develop technical information required to <br /> establish local limits; <br /> Assist IRCU staff in developing the Final Sewer Ordinance following receipt of comments from <br /> FDEP. <br /> It is anticipated that most Consultant support effort will be provided remotely but may include on-site <br /> assistance as desired by the IRCU staff. <br /> Task 6 — Responses to Requests for Additional Information <br /> Due to the unpredictable nature of FDEP with these permit renewals, considerable time and effort can be <br /> expended for responses to requests for additional information. We anticipate up to two requests for <br /> additional information which does not include additional water quality analysis , design of plant <br /> modifications FDEP may require above and beyond what is typically required for these permit, which is <br /> beyond the work described herein. Should the permitting process drag out beyond a reasonable time <br /> frame and involve additional responses beyond what is listed herein, this is considered a additional scope <br /> and can be negotiated under a separate work order. This task will performed on an hourly basis with a <br /> maximum not to exceed amount. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Assuming notice to proceed issued by June 15 , 2006, Consultant will prepare application with <br /> attachments for Owner review prior to August 2006 submission to FDEP. Consultant will respond to <br /> RAI' s from FDEP during the six month time frame up to February 2007 expiration date. <br /> FEES <br /> We will provide these services in accordance with our Continuing Services Contract Agreement for <br /> Professional Services dated April 6, 2004 with Indian River County. <br /> The Consultant will provide professional services for Task I through Task 4 on a lump sum fee basis as <br /> follows : <br /> Task No. Task Task Fee <br /> Task 1 Prepare Application (includes $5k app fee) $ 139800 <br /> Task 2 Treatment Facility Description $ 51400 <br /> Task 3 Reuse Disposal Description $ 3,700 <br /> Task 4 Additional Information and Documentation $ 22,800 <br /> Total Lump Sum Fee = $ 45,700 <br /> E:ASouth IRCU WWTP Operating Permit Renewal Scope revl .doc <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br />
