Post-Construction — Two automatic stormwater samplers ISCO brand ) <br /> with plastic sample containers with Teflon or plastic tubing and an <br /> associated bubbler or area velocity flow meter as pertinent . <br /> 62 . 3 Support Facilities Required <br /> None required . <br /> 132 . 4 Individuals Responsible for Corrective Action <br /> Michael Wickwire , Project Quality Assurance Officer, is responsible for all <br /> necessary corrective action related to sampling . He will also collect the <br /> composite samples from the automatic samplers and reset them for the next <br /> sampling event . <br /> B2 . 5 Process for Preparation and Decontamination of Sampling Equipment <br /> The sampling set-up procedure will include proper decontamination of the <br /> sampling tubing and container. During the sampling , the automated samplers <br /> will be programmed to perform pre- and post-sample rinse and purge cycles in <br /> order to insure the sample taken is an accurate representation oft a flow at the <br /> time of sampling . Disposal protocols will be handled according to the following <br /> protocols : Indian River County will comply with 62 -302 April 9 , 2002 version of <br /> the SOPs . <br /> B2 . 6 Selection and Preparation of Sample Containers and Determination of Sample <br /> Volumes <br /> Sample containers will be plastic , which is a proper material for all of the tests <br /> that will be performed on the stormwater. To provide enough stormwater for the <br /> various tests , a minimum sample volume will be 4 , 800 ml per sample container. <br /> B2 . 7 Preservation Methods and Maximum Holding Times <br /> Once the stormwater samples are collected , they will be immediately transported <br /> to Indian River County' s Central Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP ) <br /> where they will be picked up by U . S . Biosystems , Inc . personnel during their daily <br /> wastewater sample collection process . U . S . Biosystems will take the samples to <br /> its Boca Raton , Florida laboratory for analysis . Once the stormwater samples <br /> are placed into U . S . Biosystems ' container, the maximum holding time is six <br /> hours . The samples will be kept on ice after collection until delivery to U . S . <br /> Biosystems . The sample preservation procedures will adhere to the January 1 , <br /> 2002 DEP-SOP-001 /01 . <br /> B3 . Sample Handling and Custody Requirements <br /> No specific or unusual sample handling requirements are required . Chain of <br /> custody and sample labeling procedures will be as recommended by U .
