He said that there was some space next to the <br />landfill area and that the State Road Department would be willing <br />to have this permission cancelled at any time. A Motion was made <br />by Commissioner Macdonald, 'seconded by Commissioner McCullers and <br />unanimously carried that the State Road Department be granted the <br />use of County. land for the storage of lime rock. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Dritenbas and unanimously carried the Clerk was <br />authorized to pay the bill of Lloyd and Associate& amounting to <br />$1,840.00 for the engineering of 43rd Avenue, under the direction <br />'and approval of the City of Vero Beach and to charge this amount <br />against the City's share of Road and Bridge Account 45192.1, <br />"Road Tax to Municipalities". <br />The Administrator reported that he had received a letter <br />from Mrs. Ayres requesting that trucks not be permitted on 19th <br />Street at the 44th Avenue area. He stated that this street <br />might soon be changed to commercial zoning and that he would try <br />to do something about the drainage in that area. <br />The Administrator reported thatt he would like to replace 'a <br />54" culvert at the R. D. Carter Road with a 66" culvert. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Dritenbas, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers, the application of Jim: Grant Byrd, a minor, <br />for admission to the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind was <br />unanimously approved. <br />Alfred H. Webber, Deputy Clerk reported that he had received <br />a memorandum from the State Comptroller stating it was the. Attorney <br />General's Opinion that the matching funds paid•to.the State Teacher's <br />Retirement System in behalf of Forrest McCullars, County Agricultural <br />Agent, in the amount of $145.30 should be refunded to the County, and <br />X99 <br />6006 rA.i. <br />
