J . Maintenance : The Contractor shall , at his expense , maintain the sodded areas in a <br /> satisfactory condition until final acceptance of the project. Such maintenance shall <br /> include repairing of any damaged areas and replacing areas in which the establishment <br /> of the grass stand does not appear to be developing satisfactorily. <br /> Replanting or repair necessary due to the Contractor's negligence , carelessness or <br /> failure to provide routine maintenance shall be at the Contractor's expense . <br /> The Contractor shall maintain the sodded area up to the final acceptance date as <br /> directed by the Engineer. Grass height shall not exceed 6" without mowing . Clippings <br /> shall be removed from sidewalk . <br /> K. Article 570-9 .
