ANSWER NO. 44 The Itemized Bid Schedule has been revised to add a Pay Item No. 430475472 to include the 72" RCP . QUESTION NO* 45 In Addendum # 1 on the summary of quantities for project No . 0545B pay item 633421-3 shows 10, 383 ft of96 strand fiber. In Addendum# 1 on the summary of quantities for project No . 0545C pay item 633421-3 shows 6, 104 ft of96 strand fiber.The total of these two quantities equals 16,487 feet but on the tabulation of quantities the total for the 96 strand fiber under pay item 633421-3 is 14, 237 feet. Why is there a difference in the quantities ? ANSWER NO. 45 The additional quantity reflected on the Itemized Bid Schedule is to include the service slack at every slack/splice box. QUESTION NO. 46 On the Interconnect Plans sheet T44 the 96 strand fiber pay item 633421-3 seems to stop . at a pull box located at approximately 219+50. Is the 96 strand fiber to be coiled at this location or does it need to be terminated or fusion spliced to another fiber optic cable? ANSWER NO . 46 The 96 strand fiber needs to continue north from approximately station 219+40 to 245 +90. Although the plans do not show the fiber continued in this area the Itemized Bid Schedule under section 41" Street Intersection Sta 219+40 to 245+90 was revised in Addendum No . 1 to include the quantity under Pay Item No . 633421-3 . QUESTION NO. 47 On the Interconnect Plans sheet T45 the 96 strand fiber pay item 633421-3 seems to begin at a pull box located at approximately 246+00. Is the 96 strand fiber to be coiled at this location or does it need to be terminated or fusion spliced to another fiber optic cable? ANSWER NOo 47 Please refer to answer No .46 above. QUESTION NO. 48 On pages 61, 62, 71, 80 & 84 reference is made to deflections of the 12" RWM and 12" W. M . . These deflections include fittings , 12" double line stops , restraining existing pipe and deflections to be constructed on the existing 12" RWM & 12" W. M . Please clarify how and where will the costs of these deflections and line stops be applied to on the bid form . ANSWER NO. 48 Refer to the utility plans for this project. The cost of all fittings, joint restraints, and deflections is to be included in the cost of the water main pipe . An item has been added for the line stops . QUESTION NO* 49 Are all the light poles and electrical poles to be removed by others? Some of the poles to be removed do not say by others they just say to remove light pole.
