ANSWER NO. 44 <br /> The Itemized Bid Schedule has been revised to add a Pay Item No. 430475472 to include the 72" <br /> RCP . <br /> QUESTION NO* 45 <br /> In Addendum # 1 on the summary of quantities for project No . 0545B pay item 633421-3 shows <br /> 10, 383 ft of96 strand fiber. In Addendum# 1 on the summary of quantities for project No . 0545C pay <br /> item 633421-3 shows 6, 104 ft of96 strand fiber.The total of these two quantities equals 16,487 feet <br /> but on the tabulation of quantities the total for the 96 strand fiber under pay item 633421-3 is <br /> 14, 237 feet. Why is there a difference in the quantities ? <br /> ANSWER NO. 45 <br /> The additional quantity reflected on the Itemized Bid Schedule is to include the service slack at every <br /> slack/splice box. <br /> QUESTION NO. 46 <br /> On the Interconnect Plans sheet T44 the 96 strand fiber pay item 633421-3 seems to stop . at a pull <br /> box located at approximately 219+50. Is the 96 strand fiber to be coiled at this location or does it <br /> need to be terminated or fusion spliced to another fiber optic cable? <br /> ANSWER NO . 46 <br /> The 96 strand fiber needs to continue north from approximately station 219+40 to 245 +90. Please clarify how and where will the costs of these <br /> deflections and line stops be applied to on the bid form . <br /> ANSWER NO. 48 <br /> Refer to the utility plans for this project. The cost of all fittings, joint restraints, and deflections is to be <br /> included in the cost of the water main pipe . An item has been added for the line stops . <br /> QUESTION NO* 49 <br /> Are all the light poles and electrical poles to be removed by others?
