PROJECT DESCRIPTION /JUSTIFICATION : <br /> This project will require installation of new CPE equipment for the Indian River County Sheriff' s <br /> Department PSAP location . <br /> Upon notification of grant award Indian River County will begin the project to contract with the <br /> appropriate vendor after going through the county procurement process . The anticipated <br /> schedule is : <br /> 0- 90 Days - The project procurement for replacement of the Indian River County <br /> Sheriff' s Office PSAP CPE equipment . <br /> 91 -210 Days - Equipment order placed , awaiting delivery of equipment and preparation <br /> of the work area to accommodate the new equipment . <br /> 211 -270 Days — Equipment installed , acceptance testing of E911 and recording <br /> equipment. <br /> This project will coincide with the replacement of the CPE equipment in the Vero Beach Police <br /> Department PSAP , Sebastian Police Department PSAP , and the EOC PSAP . <br /> This is not a sole source request ; Indian River County requested proposals from three CPE <br /> vendors including the Local Exchange Carrier . Attached are copies of the responses from the <br /> vendors . The proposal used for this grant request is from the Local Exchange Carrier , AT & T <br /> using a Positron solution .
